It was an absoulte pleasure to be involved in ARUK’s latest campaign. Working with a creative team under a short time scale producing composite images.
Alzheimers Research UK is an incredible charity that is doing astonishing work. I’ve personally seen the devistating effects of demantia to both the individual and the loved ones supporting them.
This project is currently ongoing and aims to inspire people to fundraise and help find a cure for dementia.
More details about how you can help and fundraise can be found on the Alheimers Research UK fundraising website.
For those interested in the process of the shot. All the portraits were done in my studio. Prior to the shoot we sat down and choose background images for each shot. We then worked out both a technical brief and styling outline for each of the concepts. Lighting was done with Elinchrom ELB400’s and Profoto modifiers were used. It is so important to get the background lighting replicated for the studio portrait to get the final image more realistic. Post production was done in Adobe Photoshop CC.
Make up was done by the talented Sam Cooper.
